Boarderweek

Good news for those who adore both skiing and music. The 14th annual Boarder week festival will take place in Val Thorens, France. The festival will be held from December, 12th – 19th 2010.
With its altitude of 2300 metres, Val Thorens is the highest ski station in Europe. Furthermore the station is part of the Trois Vallées, the biggest skiing area in Europe, which reaches up to 3200 metres.

Freestyle Snowmobile Show and Big Air Battle
A battle over the Big Air Kicker between Board- and Freeski-riders, you’ll be witness to a spectacular Freestyle Snowmobile Show. Already a trend in the US, you can now enjoy watching in Europe, too. The show takes place after dawn, by the light of wonderful fireworks.

Easy Fun Park/ Snow Park
There are two possibilities to get in touch with rails and kickers. On the one hand, the Easy Fun Park especially shaped for the Ski Camp; Boarderweek, allows you to get in touch with first tricks. If people are more advanced, the Snowpark Val Thorens is the right place to be to have fun with other riders!

Freestyle Coaching
In 2009, Freestyle Coaches gave all support needed to learn the first steps on rails, kickers and boxes in the Easy- Funpark. There were also photographers and film- crews sneaking around the coaching, probably a chance to get first action- shots!

Fun Sport Area
In the fun sport area, there were two big air bags, making sure that even the most reckless jump ended up in a soft landing. Besides the bags, there were some more funny happenings taking place , where skills on ski or board aren’t actually necessary...

Boarderweek offers easy and safe access to the world of freeriding!!!

And you, would you want to participate in Boarderweek? And why?
